Babymädchen-Kuschel-Kombi

I’ve mentioned it, haven’t I?
Babies are being born everywhere around me 🙂

And – apart from sewing blankie animals – I’m really enjoying getting to sew those teensie-tiny sizes.

Here’s the outfit I made for my brandnew little niece:

In terms of color, the soft terry fabric I usually use for blankie-elephant Lumpi-kits seemed an ideal combination for the lovely Nikiko Fawns „Winterkitze“ (the cutting file is also by Nikiko). And I must say I’m absolutely in love with it – and not just color-wise. This fabric is so incredibly cuddly, it’s perfect for baby clothes!

I made the wrap jacket (pattern here), the pants (own pattern) and hat (pattern by Klimperklein) reversable.

I wonder when the things will fit – at the moment, this tiny European size 56 is still way to big 😀
